You can't tell me that it's been two years already. The part that vexes me so, is that we just got out of school it seemed last week, and already we go back next month. Still feels like I'm posting this from our last Montmorency session. I told you I would stay in touch and you know an old soul keeps a wise breath. My dad and I did some landscaping projects for a fellow in Kernersville and I got a 1968 Wurlitzer organ for my work. Now I can torture my neighbors with my "exuberant" compositions.(cough cough) Let me know how your summer is going so far!
I'm sure your neighbors will love your "exuberant compositions!" Just be sure to sing during your practice sessions, too!
And yes, you are correct: the last two years of high school will be even quicker than the first two. Enjoy the ride, my friend!

Austin & Travis,
Summer school? I used to think you two may be crazy. ... Now I KNOW it! Although I do love snacks -- and I'm sure you guys are paramount bakers -- you have lost your minds! :)
I'm hopeful you guys are enjoying your summer! You better be listening to your parents and also wearing sun screen!
We all made it! 65 miles, 13 people, 11 days, 10 different camps, 1 life changing experience. It was awesome! There was so much to do, and we did it all! Branding, lasso-ing, adle-adle throwing, skeet shooting, 30 ot 6 shooting, reloading, mins tours, hiking up mountains. We did it all and more. It was such a great trip, I can't wait to go back, which might not be for sometime yet. Philmont completely exceeded all of my expectations. And I am so glad that my dad went. I didn't know it was possible but I have become closer than ever to him. I don't think this trip would have been more meaningful without him.
This weekend we are going to the beach with my church. I can't wait to do that! This month will probably be the busiest of my life!
I also can't wait for my sophomore year to begin. My first year was so great, I'm hoping this year will be much better (mostly because I won't be a freshman :).
Hope you are having a great summer and hope the rest of it is great as well.
