Inside the Swine (and weekend comic relief)

Scholars,

Slightly off topic, but pertinent in other ways.

Here's an inside look at how the aristocrat of influenza, the Swine flu, replicates and how one becomes immune. Additionally, the video explains why this strain of influenza is so "successful."

Be safe!

Yours truly,

M. Kittner

Here's your comic relief, scholars:

I love the last half minute of the comic relief video where the kids are like "stranger danger!" and attack the bear.

Ooh by the way I took the initiative to put the dust jacked of _Snakehead_ and _The Seance_ in my backpack for monday. I can't wait for fall break!

W. Rierson,

Nice foresight about the novels! You're aggressively making your way up the AR leaderboard!! Keep after it.

Oh, fall break is going to be beautiful!!!

Enjoy your weekend, W!

Mr K.,

(prepare for a long story)

OH MY GOODNESS!!! speaking of bears...
i was in the mountains today with my mom for a fiat drive,(last weekend we also did something with fiats, in Georgia though) and guess what?! The people at the drive were talking about how the people we went to see last weekend had stolen my mom's fiat mascot, Sam. Sam is a teddy bear. they stole it during the summer, but the people who stole him only kept him for a little while until they sent him to the next place. They acquired the addresses from friends on the fiat club website. (they mostly ship car parts and all) But this bear has been from NC to GA to Canada! Then the bear went to our friend, Alvon in California. Oh that man is a goofball.... he made a video of Sam "vaulunteering" to go up the mast of a sailboat to disentangle some ropes... and if you watch the video, it gives you an idea of how much fun GROWN men and women can have with a teddy bear.... almost scary.

here's URL to the video on youtube:

hope it comes up right...

P.S.
Wonder what everyone thinks about that?

M. Lybarker,

Wonderful news about _Someone Like You_ and even better news about _Hunger Games_. You will LOVE it!!

As for home reading log #5, it will go home tomorrow.

You may want to check out another book (or buy _Catching Fire_) because you will fly through _Hunger Games_!

Hold on! :-)
