You BETTER be ready for homework . . and -- if you want to continue to be extraordinary -- make sure it gets completed! :-)
Remember my three main goals for success in high school and college: 1)Separate yourself from the class (get to know your teachers on a personal level as you did last year; talk to them; joke with them; pay attention when they talk; always be interested)
2) Put yourself around good friends who have appropriate and positive influences (I always said to my high school students, "Don't hang around with anyone you wouldn't want your little sister to befriend)
3) You will have to do ALL of your work and truly study for test.
Remember, I know you are going to do AMAZING things with your future!
Yell at me if you need anything.

Yes, MJ's sudden death was tragic. Although his personal like was knowingly bizarre, no one can doubt his astounding talent as a musician -- and I owned his _Thriller_ album and the red jacket (no glove) when I was seven, if you can believe it! haha

D. Moses,
Great to hear from you! Even though you had an amazing year of school, it's almost impossible NOT to love the summer! (I'm guilty, too!) :-)
Are you getting excited for high school yet?! Remember, keep in touch and let me know if you need anything.
And keep writing!!!
